Background

I have this cute little stuffed monkey that I got in Jasper, and I was keeping it at work. Tuesday morning when I came into work, it was gone!

I then received the following email:


From: Monkey Ransom [mailto:monkey.ransom@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 8:20 AMTo: Michael HollandsSubject: Pay up, or the monkey gets it!!!

You will be contacted with further instructions. Do not contact the authorities or you will not see the chimp again!

Later that morning, I received another email from the hostage takers:

Monkey disappeared in the middle of the night,
Monkey cried but there was no-one in sight,
He says you like to spank him,
Now that just aint right

By now you can imaging the panic I am feeling knowing that some sicko has my taken monkey for who knows what reason!
